It all began when, after eating a mouthful of sauerkraut*, my husband Stefano said:"Tell me, why can't fermented foods be tasty?"
I am a dietitian and it's my mission to help people eat well, and fermented foods are just so good for you. So I took on the challenge to make a fermented, but tasty, treat.
I enlisted the help of a pastry chef, a microbiologist and a fermentation expert to help me create these delicious - and super gut-friendly - Fermenti macarons.
